Here are book club selections for future months The St. Francis of Assisi Book Club has chosen as their read for the month of August, “Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet”, by Jamie Ford This book is about sweet innocence of first love, the cruelty of racism, the blindness of patriotism, the astonishing unknowns between parents and their children, and sadness at end of life. The discussion on this book will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 10:30 am in the parish office conference room.
